Forest School Lead Teacher Camden
A unique opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Forest School Lead Teacher to join an inspiring early education team. This role involves leading outdoor learning sessions for children aged 2-7 years in beautiful natural settings where children can explore, develop, and form a lasting connection with the natural world.
The Forest School Lead Teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering, and managing engaging outdoor sessions that inspire curiosity, resilience, and hands-on learning. Working closely with class teachers and early years practitioners, the successful candidate will design a curriculum aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage, providing a well-rounded, nature-based educational experience.
Key responsibilities include setting up resources, maintaining equipment, supporting child-led activities, and conducting regular risk assessments to ensure a safe environment.
This role also involves liaising with local authorities to secure outdoor spaces and collaborating with senior leadership to embed forest school experiences across the school s timetable. Ideal candidates will hold a Level 3 Forest School certification or equivalent and have at least one year of experience in a similar role. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside a commitment to supporting children s development through outdoor learning.
Forest School Lead Teacher - Details:
Start Date: January April 2025, depending on candidate availability
Salary: £30,000 £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
