Civils Site Manager (Blackburn) - £50,000 - £60,000 DOE

You will be joining a Civil and Groundworks contractor working on a range of exciting schemes, based around the UK. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.
Due to continued success, they are looking to bring on an experienced Civil Site Manager to work within the Groundworks and Civil division. This will provide the opportunities for ambitious individuals to progress within the company. They are looking for someone who will become the second-hand man in the business and work directly with the director. In this role, you will be managing 16 skilled men, and managing the daily site operations.

Your new role

Management of all site activities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications

Coordinating with blue-collar workers and white-collar workers to ensure timely completion of project phases

Monitoring and reporting on project progress and addressing any issues promptly

Ensuring quality control and consistency in line with project standards

Managing site logistics and resource allocation in an effective way

Maintaining detailed site records and documentation

Fostering a collaborative working environment to optimise team performance

What you'll need to succeed

Relevant qualifications

Excellent supervision and organisational skills

Experience of successfully managing relationships with workers and clients

Proven management skills and ability to manage a project effectively and efficiently
