FIX Connectivity Support Analyst, Application Support - Linux, Python, E-Trading, Banking/Financial

Candidates will have some previous Market Data/Trade Floor Support experience ideally with strong knowledge of FIX Protocol including client on-boarding and troubleshooting.

Preferably with previous experience supporting live Financial Trading Applications in a mixed Linux/windows Environment and whilst RedHat is preferred the client will consider other variants - SuSE, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, Fedora, BSD Solaris.

Ideally you'll have a reasonable knowledge of SQL/SQL Server - running queries and statements with any Scripting beneficial - Preferably Python but others considered - Perl, Bash, Shell

Preferred candidates will have a reasonable level of Business Knowledge of Futures & Options with any Equities, FX and Fixed Income all beneficial. .

Non Essential But Highly Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience supporting Futures & Options Trading/Settlement Systems.
• Windows Desktop and Server - Windows 8/10 and 2012/2016 - Active Directory.
• Linux System Administration - RedHat, Ubuntu, Solaris.
• Knowledge of at least one of the ISV's products - Fidessa, Trading Technologies, Stellar, ULLink, WebICE, Object Trading, ION/Patsystems, Trayport.
• Exchange Connectivity - ICE/LIFFE, Eurex, CME/CBOT, Xetra, Chi-X, LME, LSE, NYSE.
• FIX Connectivity - Client On-boarding, Support/Troubleshooting of FIX Logs/Connections.
• Experience with any of - PCAP, Wireshark, FIXYL, Zabbix, and Rundeck.
• Other Market Data - Reuters, Bloomberg, CQG, Ateo (Teo and Lisa).

There is both a contract and permanent position, please state your daily rate expectation and if permanent your required annual salary.
