Fire and Security Engineer Manchester

Department: Install/ProjectsReports to: Project ManagerLocation: Site-Based (North West area)

Install, commission, and validate security systems, including Intruder Alarms, IP CCTV, Access Control, and Intercoms. Oversee work done by subcontractors and internal teams, primarily in the North West, with occasional support in other areas.

• Install, commission, and repair Security & Fire systems.
• Conduct testing, maintenance, and repairs according to company and British standards.
• Travel between sites, ensuring high standards and accurate reporting.
• Report critical security issues to management.
• Identify and suggest improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical support and mentor apprentices.
• Manage equipment and stock efficiently.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and on time.
• Attend training sessions and communicate development needs.

• 5+ years in the security sector.
• Full UK driving license.
• Strong technical knowledge of Security Systems.
• Systematic and logical approach to tasks.
• Good communication, organization, and presentation skills.

• CSCS/ECS Card
• IPAF License
• PASMA Certification
• IP system knowledge
• Installation experience
