Job Description
SME Financial Controller East Lincolnshire

Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are working with an established small group of companies in East Lincolnshire to recruit a Financial Controller.
Your new role
Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for all day to day management of the accounting for the companies, including analysis and KPI's as well as monthly management accounts, balance sheet, group cashflow forecasts, budgeting and forecasting, intercompany accounting, "hands on" credit control and ledger management, banking, VAT returns, payroll journals, CIS returns, managing investments and liaising with the group Accountants on PAYE, statutory accounting and corporation tax.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Accountant, used to working in complex multi-company SME's, reporting to Board level where you can "add value" with strategic and commercial input to aid the Directors in business decisions and the future direction of the company whilst remaining "hands on" to be able to work on anything from inputting invoices and beyond. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to fit in to a small team. You will have good IT skills, Xero would be highly advantageous and strong Excel capabilities. The role is office based, so you will need to be living in close commute to the East Lincolnshire area.
