Our client is one of the UK's leading animation, games and VFX schools, supplying the industry with studio-ready talent. Their courses are designed and delivered with industry experts within a welcoming, close-knit and successful community.
They are looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days a week). In this hands-on role, you will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and financial reporting, while working closely with the Finance Director to support their growth strategy.

They are looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days a week). In this hands-on role, you will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and financial reporting, while working closely with the Finance Director to support their growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial operations including invoicing, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee VAT returns
- Assist with audits and maintain effective internal controls
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or part-qualified with relevant experience
- Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software (Xero preferred)
- Knowledge of UK financial regulations (VAT, Corporation Tax)
- Detail-oriented, organised, and collaborative
