Farm Manager

We are retained by Yorkshire Dairy Goats to appoint a farm manger for a farm in East Yorkshire.

About the Farm

• 1500 acre farm which is 15 miles from York. 3,500
• Milking Goats and 1,500 followers.
• 76 point rotary parlour.
• Good Infrastructure for all goats in central location on the farm.
• Rural location with good local services and schools.

About You

• Previous dairy goat farming experience is not a requirement.
• Excellent record keeping and ability to analyse and interpret data and work with IT.
• Large scale dairy farm management experience.

About the Role

• Hands on role to implement the agreed farming policy reporting directly to the directors of the business.
• Livestock & forage production farm management role.
• Family house on the farm site.
• Generous salary, on farm accommodation plus results based remuneration.
