Job Description
Are you ready to lead and shape the operations of a dynamic school farm? Brymore Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced Farm Manager to oversee our 33 Hectares farm, ensuring it thrives as both a working farm and an educational resource.

About the Role:
In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day farm operations, ensuring livestock welfare and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
    Support the agricultural curriculum by engaging students in practical learning and maintaining industrial and red tractor welfare standards.
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated farm team, working on a rota system to cover farm duties year-round, including weekends and holidays.
  • Drive farm sustainability through efficient budget management, grant applications, and ensuring Red Tractor status compliance.
  • Represent Brymore Academy at agricultural shows and community events, promoting our unique farm-based education model.

What We re Looking For:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Agriculture (or equivalent experience).
  • Practical experience in mixed farming, livestock care, and biosecurity measures.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and financial management skills.
  • A passion for working with young people and inspiring the next generation of agricultural professionals.
