About the role
Responsible for the efficient running of ourElectrical Function within our Skegness resort, you'll ensure thatthe highest standard of service is met consistently, ensuring thatwe delight our guests and receive positivefeedback.
Leading a team to notonly deliver the best service to our customers but to make sure theteam are always engaged and carrying out best practice, you willsupport with day to day activities of the electrical team,including routine maintenance, servicing and repairing of domestic,commercial and electrical equipment. You will manage project workswith both team and subcontractors. You will plan and operate therota system including on call systems, and be available for callouts if required. You should have a good knowledge in all aspectsof fault finding and installation works.
This role covers a 5-day working week over 7days, so flexibility is very important. Occasional late work willbe required and at least 1 weekend day per week will need to becovered.
As partof the Resorts Management team, it will be your responsibility tomanage both your internal team and external service providers toensure full compliance of all H&S polices are adheredto.
You will alsooversee all team activities within the department includingrecruitment, performance, and team development. You should be areal advocate for your team's fulfilment at work, ensuring that youare having regular 121's and PDP discussions to support theirdevelopment and career with Butlin's.
As with all roles at Butlin's, no day willbe the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet,getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is alwaysyour number one priority.

We are looking for anexperienced electrical leader that can supportthe team to deliver fantastic service, putting the guests first ineverything you do. You will have experience in training andcoaching the team in a fun-filled environment to deliver anexcellence experience.
You should have previous experience inleading teams, with an ability to prioritise a demanding workload,work on your own initiative and a sound understanding of how tooperate a PC/Microsoft suite.
You shouldbe confident to direct and respond in any situation whilstdelivering consistent brand standards.
The ability to lead, motivate and engageyour team, even at periods of high demand is important, as well asbeing able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly tochanging requirements.
With strong leadership skills, you should beconfident in inspiring your team to deliver amazing results for ourteams and guests every day.
You'llneed to have an 18th Edition electrical qualification, as well as aHVK license.

- Responsibility for managing the team during a shift onkey tasks and objectives.
- Driving add onsales and promotions and supporting team to do thesame.
- Ensuring all stock/ proposition isavailable for guests.
- Monitoringconsistent delivery of a quality guest experience in line withbrand/venue guidelines.
- Ensuring anyguest feedback is captured.
- Providesaccurate rota's 3 weeks in advance through SAM for all team withinthe venue and takes accountability for ensuring the accuracy ofclosing the system.
- Monitors NPS andtakes action where possible on guest feedback.
- Coach and develop the team to ensure departmental plansare met.
- Be a champion of the Butlin'sValues and Leadership Behaviours.
- Ensurewe always have a focus on RPRRT in the way we rotateam.
- Build and maintain strongrelationships across the resort, other resorts, and Butlins centralsupport teams.
- Responsibility, whererequired, for people support of the department, including allpeople tasks from onboarding through the employee life cycle.Employee life cycle refers to PDP's, performance management,required training, and any formal HR process.
