Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team on a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, welding, and assembly, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications.

• Perform cutting, shaping, and assembling of metal components using various tools and equipment.
• Operate welding machines to join metal parts, ensuring strong and precise welds.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve fabrication issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Document work processes and maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on projects.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or metal fabrication preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc welding).
• Ability to operate fabrication machinery such as shears, presses, and grinders.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and working in various positions.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
