Your new role
Repairs and maintenance to building fabric. Minor repair and maintenance of tiling, walls and ceiling. Remedial minor building works following PPM activities completed by other service lines. Fire Door inspections and repairs. Painting and decorating projects (as and when required). Flooring repair and new installations. Basic plumbing repairs. Basic plastering. Stock management of site consumables. Support collecting of deliveries as required. Relocation or removal of furniture. Hosting of subcontractors. Flexibility to work out of hours and at weekends. Support a call-out rota.
What you'll need to succeedPreferred qualification to a C&G or NVQ in a fabric trade. Previous experience of working as a fabric technician. Strong customer service experience. Ability to be proactive and identify opportunities. Experience of PDA or IPAD technology for reporting and completion of jobs is essential, as this forms part of the process to complete and sign off each job.
