We are seeking an exceptional Executive Headteacher to provide strategic leadership across our two high schools, Leek High School and Westwood College, ensuring the highest standards of education and student outcomes.

We are part of the Talentum Learning Trust, a well-established Trust based in Staffordshire that is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inspiring environment where every learner can thrive.

As the Executive Headteacher, you will promote and uphold the Trust's values and ethos throughout the schools and the wider community, setting high expectations for all pupils. You will be responsible for leading school improvement strategies across the Trust's schools and developing teaching and learning.

You will focus on driving school improvement initiatives post Ofsted. You will ensure that both schools deliver an enriching curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all learners and promotes an inclusive culture within the schools and the community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing strategic plans to improve academic standards
  • Leading curriculum development to help raise attainment and support inclusion
  • Managing budgets and resources effectively
  • Providing high-quality CPD and helping all staff achieve their full potential
  • Ensuring policies and governance reflect the best practices and statutory requirements
  • Building strong relationships with parents, governors, and the wider community

The successful candidate will have proven leadership experience in a secondary school setting, with a strong track record of raising academic standards. You will be a resilient leader who can work through the Head of School to inspire and motivate staff and pupils.
