This is an exciting time to join University of Staffordshire. We recently unveiled our new name and brand identity: a bold step forward in repositioning ourselves as the UK's leading modern university.

It encapsulates our vision for the future and the endless possibilities that education can unlock.

This inaugural role of Executive Director of Business to Markets is pivotal to our ongoing success. In short, the role holder will be responsible for all aspects of income generation, working alongside our Executive Deans and fellow Executive Directors. You will be accountable for our business to consumer activities (student recruitment onto our on-campus provision), for our academic partnerships to ensure they deliver the expected growth plans, and engaging with employers, business to business, particularly in relation to our apprenticeship provision.

You will join in the midst of our 2022 - 2027 Strategy, playing a key part in delivering on Next Generation Education, Experience, Engagement and Environment. University of Staffordshire has long been a beacon of innovation in the modern higher education sector and this role represents an essential part of our growth driving income generation activities in the UK and overseas.

We are seeking a true pioneer, an individual who has the ambition and goals of an entrepreneurial institution, leading the way in providing skills training and education for our community of global learners in the UK and overseas. You will bring commerciality to the portfolio, challenge the status quo and play your role in driving us forwards, against the context of both increasing challenges and opportunities.

You will be a commercially-minded individual: highly skilled in both strategic and operational environments, driving growth and opportunity both internally and externally. You will have a clear understanding of the challenges facing the University in both its domestic and international markets and will have the experience and enthusiasm to build a compelling vision for commercial success and institutional growth. This is a career defining role, and one that will provide huge scope for personal and professional impact.
