Job Description

About the role

This role will ensure that the two Directors working under the organisations Income Generation (Fundraising) Enabler have the right personal support in organising their departments and fulling their obligations in reporting, performance and business planning to Boards and Committees. The Directors are part AIUK's Senior Management Team.

This is a new role at AIUK focusing on our important work in Fundraising and Grant Management so as a successful candidate you will support the two Directors to operate as effective leaders of their two Directorates. This will include a range of administrative and support activities, including the organisation of meetings and workshops, supporting the organisation on small fundraising events, keeping an up-to-date calendar of key internal and relevant external events, ensuring that staff in the department are completing monthly operational planning boards (Trello) and that SharePoint sites are updated appropriately, finally assisting in preparing monthly data summary reports, minute-taking of meetings, and coordinating any Board sub-committees managed by these members of the Senior Management Team.

The Executive Assistant will be integral to supporting the Directors to provide positive leadership, by ensuring that their departments have the right administrative systems in place, and representing them when liaising with internal and external contacts when providing organisational and administrative services for committees and meetings.
