£37,264 pa plus excellent benefits

35 hours per week, full-time
As Examinations Coordinator (Clinical) you will support the UK Examinations Manager by coordinating the operational delivery of all aspects of MRCPCH clinical examination activity, engaging clinicians to deliver examinations to the required standard, on schedule and to budget.
This is a crucial role within the Clinical Assessments Team as you will undertake routine forward planning to work with the UK Examination Manager to support hosts for exams and related exam preparation whilst also supporting the recruitment, training and performance review of MRCPCH examiners.
With line management responsibility for two administrators, you will provide input into monitoring and evaluating each clinical exam delivered, to ensure standards are maintained and candidate and examiner feedback is captured, whilst identifying and reporting on key concerns for future improvement, development and delivery.
In addition, you will provide committee administration support, including developing schedules for committees, ensuring they adhere to RCPCH Governance arrangements.
Educated to A-level standard or with relevant experience in line management and a similar role, you will have outstanding communication skills and be adept at managing stakeholder relationships.
With an awareness of the principles of effective project management, risk mitigation, risk management and governance, you will be able to find pragmatic solutions, seek improvements and adapt to changing situations.
You will also have the ability to act to minimise errors and inaccuracies, whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and correctness in dealing with information and data.
Your excellent report writing skills will enable you to present information in a fluent and persuasive manner to people at a range of levels.
A good knowledge of topics relating to assessments and exams along with previous experience in exams and/or assessments would be desirable.
