Salary: 35,326 to 36,330

Location: London-Hybrid

Tenure: Full time - Permanent

ActionAid UK is looking for a passionate and innovative Events & Community Engagement Officer to join our Fundraising team. This exciting opportunity will see you at the forefront of engaging communities, empowering supporters, and delivering impactful fundraising initiatives.

As part of our Events & Community Engagement team, you will be the first point of contact for fundraisers and event participants, providing exceptional support and stewardship to inspire and motivate. Whether working with schools, churches, local groups, or businesses, your work will foster strong relationships, helping supporters achieve their fundraising goals while deepening their connection with ActionAid s life-changing work.

Your Key Responsibilities


• Craft and implement inspiring stewardship journeys for a variety of audiences, including event participants and community groups.
• Build meaningful, long-term relationships with supporters, understanding their motivations and providing tailored support.
• Take ownership of creating innovative marketing content, from social media posts to email campaigns, driving excitement and engagement across all platforms.
• Support the logistical planning for iconic UK events, such as the London Marathon, ensuring an unforgettable experience for participants and supporters.
• Contribute to the innovation and delivery of new fundraising activities, testing bold ideas to reach new audiences and grow income.
• Collaborate across teams to increase ActionAid s brand visibility, ensuring our supporters have the tools and resources they need to maximise their potential.

ActionAid UK has a hybrid working policy for many of our roles. The requirement will vary from team to team and the responsibilities of individual roles. As a minimum, all colleagues are expected to attend the office 12 days per year, plus additional time for induction, training, and Company Connection days. Some roles may require in- office attendance on all days and if so, these will clearly be marked as in-office

roles.
