We are seeking a dynamic and experienced EUC Operations Manager to lead our End User Device Provisioning Center and oversee EUC operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing EUC teams, with hands-on experience in provisioning, supporting, and optimizing end-user devices and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional end-user experiences.
This role in based in Leeds and you will need to be onsite 5 days a week.
Your future duties and responsibilities
You will oversee our EUC technical solutions, manage teams, and deliver cost-effective, high-quality services to our clients. If you're passionate about technology, automation, and leading teams, this is the perfect role for you!
Your Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management: Oversee the delivery of technical solutions across EUC IT business areas, manage team performance, and handle HR-related aspects such as leave, sickness, and timesheet approvals.
Team Development: Guide the professional growth of team members by implementing training and development plans and conducting annual appraisals.
Financial Oversight: Support cost-saving initiatives, review standard service costs, and ensure financial strength in service delivery models.
Efficiency & Automation: Drive automation and "shift left" strategies to enhance team efficiency, utilizing an automation plan already in development.
Reporting & Analysis: Produce monthly reports, including KPIs, stats, and operational updates, ensuring data-driven decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders through regular meetings, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
Service Transition & Transformation: Manage service transitions and ongoing client transformations following ITIL best practices, continually driving service improvements.
Vendor & Resource Management: Negotiate with third-party vendors to procure efficient services and manage resources to deliver value-added services to our clients.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Experience in a wide variety of information technology fields to fully understand the details of the services that can be provided
• Excellent delegation skills, negotiation skills and strong people management skills;
• Technical team leadership experience
• Excellent customer relations skills to understand client/client representatives concerns and requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Knowledge of ITSM/ ServiceNow
• Diligence and an eye for detail with the ability to work off the back of reactive situations
