Job Description
Job Title: Procurement Category Manager - Estates
Location: Birmingham area
Salary: £34,866 - £45,163 + 5k Market supplement
Hybrid: 3 days on site + adhoc stakeholder meetings

Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and develop strategies for an extensive program of works and renewal/re-procurement of existing FM and supplies contracts.
- Manage a defined portfolio of spend, develop and undertake category strategies to deliver best value and continuous improvement solutions.
- Understand market dynamics and cost drivers and have experience undertaking a range of sourcing activities including RFQs, formal tenders, and sourcing competitions.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure full benefits realisation and robust supplier management.
- Communicate effectively, plan, and organise, and foster effective and collaborative relationships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
- Contribute to the delivery of an efficient, responsive, and value-generating Procurement service.
- Work effectively within a framework of robust procurement, regulatory, and audit procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience managing a defined portfolio of spend, developing and undertaking category strategies to deliver best value and continuous improvement solutions.
- Understanding of market dynamics and cost drivers and experience undertaking a range of sourcing activities including RFQs, formal tenders, and sourcing competitions.
- Strong negotiation and contract management experience.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- Proven track record of contributing to the delivery of an efficient, responsive, and value-generating Procurement service.
- Ability to work effectively within a framework of robust procurement, regulatory, and audit procedures.
