EPM Business Lead
£61,937 - £68,819 per annum (depending on experience)
Fixed-Term Contract - 12 months
Hybrid - Home-based with occasional travel to Birmingham

An experienced EPM Business Lead is sought for an initial 12 month FTC role with a Birmingham based client on a hybrid working basis. The client is seeking an experienced and passionate Finance professional to take on the EPM Business Lead role as part of their planning, budgeting, and forecasting project. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our finance function.

About the Role

As the EPM Business Lead, you will be the primary business-facing contact for our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementation project. Working closely with key stakeholders across the Group, you will ensure that the new system and processes align with business needs and enhance financial planning and analysis capabilities.

Your expertise will be critical in leading data gathering, analysis, process transformation, system testing, and training activities. By driving efficiency and innovation, you will contribute to improved financial decision-making and a customer-first experience.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary business liaison for the EPM project, ensuring stakeholder engagement and alignment.
Lead business activities related to data collection, process analysis, testing, and training.
Drive efficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting through EPM solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system adoption and seamless integration.
Provide leadership and expertise in financial planning and reporting within a complex organisation.

What We're Looking For
Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, including 1 year in a leadership role.
Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, and accounting within a large organisation.
Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Excellent leadership, managerial, and motivational abilities.
A recognised project management qualification or relevant experience is desirable.
