Enterprise Architect - Manufacturing & Supply Chain

We are currently seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect with breadth and depth of experience either in an FMCG of Manufacturing setting in a global business. You will need to be aware of the product roadmaps of key iPaaS vendors to help shape Integration strategy.

You will need to be senior with Global Supply Chain/Manufacturing breadth and depth of industry experience, ideally in CPG, FMCG, pharma, automotive, or electronics in a global business.

You must be aware of the product roadmaps to provide guidance across supply chain planning, Procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and product life cycle management

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the target estate architecture for global supply chain, covering planning, manufacturing, logistics, inventory, and product domains.
• Translate business strategies into actionable architecture blueprints and roadmaps.eg Industry Standard 4.0
• Provide solution governance and architectural oversight for 7 strategic programs and initiatives (eg, Integrated Supply Chain, ERP transformations, MES, PLM).
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of enterprise platforms (eg, SAP, Blue Yonder, ARAS PLM, MES solutions, etc.).
• Partner with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and domain architects to ensure business capabilities are supported by best-fit technology.
• Conduct gap analysis between current and future-state capabilities and systems.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise principles, security standards, and data governance policies.
• Champion modular, scalable, and interoperable design principles for long-term agility.
• Influence and contribute to IT investment decisions and business case development

Deliverables

• End-to-End Supply Chain Architecture Blueprint (including business capability maps and technical architecture)
• Technology and Platform Recommendations aligned with business goals
• Domain-Specific Reference Architectures for planning, manufacturing, logistics, and product
• Roadmaps for system evolution and modernization, rationalisations.
• Architecture Decision and governance artifacts
• Risk assessments and mitigation strategies for proposed solutions

OPEX

• Work with stakeholders to understand the objectives of OPEX challenges
• Collaborate with the Chief Architect in identifying and selecting best-practice techniques for managing Technology OPEX
• Through the activities of fulfilling primary deliverables Architecture decisions and roadmap items that address prioritised OPEX challenge objectives

This opportunity has an immediate start and is Via an Umbrella Company. You will be primarily based remotely with occasional site visits. 6 month Initial contract.
