English Teacher job in Leicester - full-time & long term - to start ASAP
Hays Education are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school that are seeking a full-time English Teacher to join their team until the end of the academic year (July). Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.

Hays Education are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school that are seeking a full-time English Teacher to join their team until the end of the academic year (July). Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the English curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and assessment results.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
