Contract: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Salary: £35,000 FTE

Hours: Flexible working hours (eg, 8:00 am-4:00 pm or 9:00 am-5:00 pm), with an early finish on Fridays

Our client, a leading education provider in the Newcastle area, is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join their team on a three-month fixed-term basis. About the Role:

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will:

• Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring policies and procedures are upheld.
• Manage casework related to disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.
• Foster positive relationships with trade unions, ensuring productive collaboration.
• Support the client's efforts to promote an inclusive and supportive work culture.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in an Employee Relations role is essential.
• Experience in the education sector is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of trade union processes and dynamics.
• A friendly and communicative team player with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Immediate availability to start is required.
