Job Title: EMDR Practitioner
Location: Home Based, UK
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Part time, 3 days per week between Monday - Friday (22.5 hours per week)
Right to live & work within the UK is required for this role.
Role Summary:
Due to significant business growth, we are looking for an EMDR Practitioner to join our nationwide team to provide a confidential Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) counselling/psychotherapy service to customers clients within the context of a multi-specialist occupational health team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Short-term EMDR therapy for clients with work related issues, who are off sick or at work, up to 12 sessions, with a goal of returning staff back to recuperative/full duties
Reports as needed regarding the progress of clients within EMDR
Advice to other members of the multidisciplinary team on the use of EMDR
Advice to managers regarding clinical issues related to EMDR
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Required for the Role:
Minimum of Accredited status with the UK/Europe EMDR Association.
Accredited with BACP or Accredited Professional Registrant with NCPS
Having experience with working with trauma
Experience in short term therapy within an organisational setting.
Ability to work autonomously carrying out risk assessments on vulnerable clients.
Ability to provide clinically appropriate reporting back to client managers and be able to follow a process and guidelines.
Confident and competent computer user is essential. We use several databases and programs including Word for Windows and Microsoft Outlook, there is a requirement that you would be able to follow simple instructions over the phone for basic computer issues with our IT support team if required.
