This opportunity will see you:
Join an engineering team delivering to customers in unique circumstances.
Work on a variety of embedded systems and their related components. You might be writing firmware components, working with real time operating systems (RTOS), writing VHDL for Field Programme Gate Arrays (FPGA) logic or maybe implementing a new technique entirely.
Provide technical advice and support, working with industry partners to help deliver solutions to problems.
At Dstl, no two days are the same. This opportunity provides you the chance to hone your skills whilst delivering work of high importance to UK security.

Person specification
You will have:
Experience of working on complex problems in an engineering or technology environment.
A relevant degree or equivalent skills, qualifications or experience are also actively encouraged to apply.
Experience of Python 3 and either C, C++ or Rust
FPGA knowledge and VHDL
Knowledge of testing methodologies.

At the interview stage we will be asking you to expand on your technical background to ensure appropriate depth against level criteria
You will be asked to do a 10 minute presentation on 'A technical project that you are proud of'
