Your New Role
Based in Mallusk, the role will offer the opportunity to utilise your skills to carry out essential electrical maintenance and repairs in a high volume, injection moulding manufacturing department.
Reporting to the Moulding Manager your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: responding to machine breakdowns • fault diagnosis and carrying out repairs to injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment • You will need to contribute to continuous improvement with emphasis on the overall effectiveness of the manufacturing process, productivity, quality and reducing manufacturing costs • Regular responsibility to carry out PPM and safety checks on all equipment and keeping stock and ordering of relevant spare parts to assist with the above.
What You'll Need To Succeed
Essential criteria: you need to be a fully qualified electrical maintenance engineer an HNC in electrical/electronic engineering, previous experience of working with AC + DC motor controls, PLCs and possess a highly motivated attitude and a strong ability to prioritise workload with the ability to work independently or within a team dynamic.
Preference will be offered to candidates that have experience of working within manufacturing/injection moulding process, have an eye for detail and a logical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Standard hours are Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:00 + Friday 07:30 - 15:00.
