As anElectrical Engineer, your mainresponsibilities will be:

• Design andProcure Electrical Systems: Develop and implement electricalsystems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards andregulations.
• Specification Development:Collaborate with various sources and disciplines to gatherinformation and develop initial specifications forprojects.
• Conceptual and Detailed Design:Participate in both the conceptual and detailed design phases ofelectrical projects, ensuring robust and efficientdesigns.
• Tender and Procurement: Manage the tendering andprocurement processes for electrical projects, ensuringcost-effectiveness and quality.
• Project Management : Oversee thefull project lifecycle, from preliminary scoping through toinstallation and commissioning, using structured project management methodologies.
• Documentation and Peer Review:Produce comprehensive documentation, drawings, and designs, andassist in presenting these for peer review to ensure accuracy andcompliance.

You'llhave:

• A degree inElectrical Engineering or a related field or equivalentexperience.
• Experience in designing andprocuring electrical systems, preferably within a government orpublic sector context.
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in electrical design software and tools, with a strong understanding ofelectrical standards and regulations.
• Project Management :Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inceptionto completion, including scoping, installation, andcommissioning.
• Communication Skills: Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, with the ability toproduce clear and concise documentation and present designs forpeer review.
• Team Collaboration: Strong ability to workcollaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, gathering andintegrating information from varioussources.
