Electrical Building Services Engineer (Junior/Intermediate) - Established Multi-disciplinary Consultancy

Your new company
A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy with over 50 years of experience is looking for junior/intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their newly formed MEP Department. As one of the largest and most reputable firms, they have a proven track record of delivering diverse projects in the commercial, education, health, and residential sectors. This is a unique and exciting chance to contribute significantly to the growth of an innovative MEP Department.

Your new role

  • Designing electrical building services for a diverse range of projects.
  • Collaborating with various in-house design disciplines.
  • Liaising with clients.
  • Producing briefs, specifications, design drawings, conducting surveys, and preparing cost estimates.
  • Undertaking surveys and writing technical reports.
  • Participating in design team and site meetings.
  • Developing within a team of engineers.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Degree qualified in electrical engineering/architectural engineering or building services.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with UK Building Regulations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in building services design.
  • Proficient in BIM/Revit or willing to develop these skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft and CAD systems.
  • A team player with the ability to positively influence team members.
