Job Description
EHC Coordinator
Duration: Initially 3 monthsHours: 37 hours per weekRate: £302 umbrella a day (£235 PAYE a day)
Hampshire County Council are looking for an EHC Coordinator to join their team. This role is fully remote.
Role:
- Manage the EHC needs assessment process for a set locality
- Be the key contact and responsible for carrying out day to day casework, ensuring quality, consistency and the effective prioritization of tasks for a set number of cases within a locality
- Ensure that all processes and decisions are accurately recorded on the SEN database and the casework file and that all relevant parties are informed
- Ensure that all children have their EHC plans reviewed annually and that where required transition plans are completed
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a similar role within a Local Authority (12 months minimum in a placement)
- 250+ caseload experience
- Experience in tribunals and preparing packs etc.
- Experience carrying out 20 week assessment work
