Are you looking for an internship that provides hands-on experience in research publishing and the chance to make connections at one of the largest publishers of education and research content?

The Springer Nature Opening Doors internship, Nature Portfolio is a paid opportunity in the UK to gain experience in research and science news publishing in our journals.

The successful applicant will spend up to six months within Nature portfolio journals, part of the Research Publishing division of Springer Nature. If selected for this internship, you will be learning by supporting projects related to the editorial and inclusion in research strategy of the Nature Portfolio journals, part of the Research Publishing division of Springer Nature. For example, you will be analysing the impact of guidancerelated to reporting on sex and gender in research studiesand the impact of journal programmes seeking to support and mentor Early Career Researchers.

About you:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or be a recent graduate
• Available to start in June 2025 for an internship of up to six months
• Strong interest in research publishing and data analytics
• Applicants should have a background in or a demonstrable understanding of data analytics
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills which are key to this role - both written and verbal
