We care about the people who care for local children

In Kensington and Chelsea, we have high aspirations for all our children, starting with early years and the provision of affordable childcare for working parents. We take an inclusive approach to nursery provision and offer fully funded places and special needs places.

By sharing facilities and expertise with Westminster City Council, we're able to offer joined-up services for children and their families that are constantly evolving and improving to meet the needs of this diverse area. In our most recent Ofsted inspection, we were judged as good in all areas.

We believe good care starts with the people who provide it and pay particular attention to your working environment, work-life balance and ongoing training and development.

The Role:

We're currently seeking passionate Early Years Practitioners to join our growing network of nurseries. You will act as key person for babies and children aged 0 to 5, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Working closely with families and other professionals, you will guide and scaffold children's play, monitor their progress and support children to meet their highest potential. Safeguarding is, of course, our top priority. You'll have the support of a close-knit, professional team and a stimulating nursery environment that is rich in learning opportunities.

This is also an opportunity for you to learn and develop. We believe outstanding nurseries are created by outstanding people, and do everything we can to support your continuing professional development. Do well, and you'll find there are plenty of opportunities for promotion within the service.
