Distribution Manager, Clips and Archive O5139

THE COMPANY

Our client is a renowned content creation company, with an impressive library of content that spans high-end factual TV, documentaries, corporate film, branded content and more.

THE ROLE

As Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the rights revenues for the company's programmes are being exploited and maximised.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for enquires about distribution and the client's catalogue
• Handle any clip sale requests where the client is the right holder; this includes drafting license agreements and sending out invoices
• Keep updated on the latest rights, productions and distribution information
• Work closely with post production teams to ensure that any distribution deals are delivered to the established timescale
• Maintain a strong working relationship with all major distribution partners that the client work with
• Prepare quarterly Distribution Statements in order to ensure that 3 rd party royalty share payments are reported
• Work closely with the financial team to monitor revenues against budgets and adjust forecasts accordingly

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of working across rights, catalogue and archive licensing and will understand the distribution process from start to finish.

Previous experience working with similar programming is highly desirable but not essential as our client is keen to speak with anyone who has a strong track record within clips and archive distribution.

The role works closely with post-producers, the internal financial team as well as key distribution partners and so strong interpersonal skills would be beneficial.
