Job Description

Digital Project Manager - OrdercommsAgency Reference Number: J80790

Venn Group is currently working with an NHS Trust to recruit a Digital Project Manager to manage the delivery of complex projects throughout the project lifecycle.

Location: Fully remote

Duration: 3 months initially

Working hours: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the definition, documentation and execution of one or more projects
  • Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project, presenting viable mitigating actions to Project Boards
  • Effectively estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful delivery of the project(s) to an agreed scope
  • Prepare and maintain project plans and track activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports to senior IT and user management as appropriate
  • Work with colleagues and clients/users to investigate operational requirements and problems, contributing to improvements in information systems, data management, processes/procedures, organisation and equipment
  • Highlight report for digital board to be submitted
  • Attend the digital board and present highlight report
  • Attend the technical working groups please, and support with any actions that fall out.
  • Arrange and attend meetings with key stakeholders to understand their perspective, requirements and any concerns they may have on the order comms project
  • Governance processes. Refining and documenting the governance processes for the sign off of the different stages of the clinisys ordercomms development (OSD, HDL, LLD) etc.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience at compiling realistic large project plans and delivering to target
  • NHS/Healthcare experience
  • ICE/Ordercomms project management experience
  • Experience in PRINCE2 methodology
