Your profile

  • Completed field of study in Business Informatics or Industrial Engineering
  • Practical experience gained, for example, as a intern or working student (maximum of 1,5 years)
  • First experience in SAP ERP (R/3 and/or S/4) in the Sales & Distribution module
  • Interest and affinity in mapping complex business processes in an SAP ERP system in conjunction with the latest programming methods
  • Interest in challenging project tasks and associated challenges
  • Flexibility to work at different ZEISS locations in Germany during the program
  • Fluent in English & German, both written and spoken, further languages beneficial




Your Role

During the 18 months, you will rotate between 4 different ZEISS departments across the company's different business units and possibly also abroad. Which departments these are depends on you your chosen focus and your future role. During the program, you will also take part in several training sessions, workshops and project work that enhances your professional and personal development. All this aims at enabling you to hit the ground running after completing the program and make you familiar with the basics to kickstart your

Possible tasks within the program:

  • Be part of the transformation from a global SAP R/3 to an SAP S/4 system in a greenfield approach
  • Support migration projects from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4 for legal entities
  • Further development of the global template approach
  • Participate in the SAP support processes
