DevOps Engineer

80% Agile sprints: Project work, Automation, Elimination of Tech Debt, Risk Remediation, Strategic Improvements
20% Operational work: Service Request Tasks, Problem Management , Review and Approval of Request and Change Management
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience building and supporting IaaS and PaaS solutions in an Azure cloud environment
- Minimum 3 years of DevOps knowledge
- Bachelor degree from an accredited university in in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent experience in the related discipline
Additional experience, qualifications, and skills expected for role:
- Strong Azure IaaS and PaaS (should possess at least AZ-104 or AZ-102)
- Strong Troubleshooting experience
- Awareness and understanding of ITIL process governance
- Must possess a solid understanding of Windows OS
- Must possess a solid understanding of AKS
- Strong scripting capability in PowerShell
- Good Azure DevOps knowledge (+3 yrs): CI/CD Pipelines, Git, Repositories, Boards, YAML
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, PowerShell Desired State - DSC)
- Must have - experience with Agile way of working
- Nice to have - Good understanding of Site Reliability Engineering Principals: e.g., Monitoring, Observability, Release Automation, Eliminate Toil.
- Nice to have - AZ-400 certification or equivalent knowledge
- Nice to have - AI Experience
