DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer - AWS - Openshift - 6 month contract - outside IR35I am looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a number of high-impact projects that is transforming essential public services.The successful candidate will have a strong background in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and automation, with a specific focus on AWS and containerisation using Openshift.I would therefore be keen to speak with candidates who have

• Proven experience in AWS platform engineering and infrastructure design, ideally within Public Sector organisations.
• Expertise in containerisation technologies, including OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and practices, especially Jenkins and AWS-native services.
• In-depth knowledge and skills in Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, CDK, TypeScript, Troposphere, and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless Technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Knowledge of CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, Artifactory, and CodeArtifact.
