Job Description

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and innovative individual to be part of the Provided Services Leadership team. The Deputy Head of Service will work alongside the Head of Service to provide effective Leadership, drive operational excellence and improvements, to meet both current and future demands of our service.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Deputy Head of Provided Services within Adults Health and Integration, who is eager to lead with strategic vision and a passion for preventative care. We are an innovative team, developing new ways of working to meet the increasing demands and supports Hackney residents aged 18

We are looking for an individual who will ensure the Provided Services are in compliance with regulatory requirements, and continue to provide high-quality, person-centered Leadership to our service users and staff, ensuring the adherence to CQC quality statements and other regulatory organisations.

Provided Service consist of the following services:

  • Housing with Care, Shared Lives,
  • Day Opportunities,
  • Bed base short term reablement support
  • Transport

About you:

For this role:

You will hold a relevant professional qualification, Management degree in Health and Social Care, equivalent or above alongside recent and relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD). We are looking for a senior manager who leads by example, with a strong foundation in social care practice, a strengths-based approach, and a commitment to intersectionality and anti-racism. You'll have in-depth knowledge of key legislation, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and other relevant frameworks, and you'll bring a collaborative, transparent approach to problem-solving.
