Data Services and Integration Lead (Accounting)

Digital Solutions combines various processes ranging from global transformation delivery, project and programme portfolio management, change management, template, business process management, automation centre of excellence, global data management and others.

In this role You will:

  • Support the prioritisation of use cases from across Finance sub-entities, ensuring clarity of requirements and benefits case
  • Support the design of data structures, applications and visualisations required to enable the delivery of prioritised use cases
  • Support Finance customers in development of clear requirements for data-enabled use cases
  • Support user testing and data validation activities to ensure delivery of business requirements and completeness/accuracy of data
  • Support key data owners/collaborators re the future code set design for key reporting processes, such as group Arc, Tax and PPM
  • Work with source systems experts to understand data structures and tables
  • Define and maintains Datamodelling related work products. Ensure an accurate representation of the source systems
  • Help the business to deliver future data management needs which inform tools decision trees for integration
  • Work with other areas of data governance to determine optimum approach for data preparation and associated systemic cleaning
  • Deliver modelling strategies which are optimized for read & write, curated reusable store as well as adaptable analytics constructs
  • Ensure interlink through layers of the data model (concept, business to physical)
  • Design data structures which deliver efficient performance for speed of analytic response
  • Participate in performing Datamodelling activities

What You will need to be successful:

  • Extensive experience in data modelling
  • Good experience in accounting and reconciliation
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary team including business & technical collaborators
  • Core systems experience incl. SAP, iBPM, Oracle, Informatica
  • Understanding of technical delivery of data & relevant infrastructure (Azure/AWS preferred)
  • Determination and resilience to proactively solve issues and challenges to achieve delivery
  • Team player attitude with ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in a global multicultural environment
  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate with domain experts across the technology landscape to develop data & analytical solutions to meet current and future needs
  • Demonstrable experience in articulating business value that can be delivered through data & analytics solutions, and a track record of leading and completing projects working with senior stakeholders
  • Relevant project/change methodology proficiency
  • Catalogue & metadata management skills
  • Data ownership, stewardship & governance skills
