Data Engineer - SQL, Python

Data Engineer vacancy requiring profound SQL and Python knowledge for our Zurich based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your tasks:

• Developing and maintaining Back End processes focused on data engineering and SQL integration
• Implementing Front End components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and creating interactive data visualizations with Plotly
• Scripting and automating data-related processes using Python and libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy
• Developing APIs to facilitate data integration and accessibility
• Performing unit testing to ensure code quality, reliability, and functionality
• Collaborating with teams to integrate machine learning models into existing data architectures and workflows

Your experience/knowledge:

• Expertise in data engineering, coupled with proficiency in SQL for Back End development
• Proficiency in Front End technologies including HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of Python, with experience in scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy
• Ability to develop simple APIs for seamless data integration and accessibility
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira
• Experience with Databricks for processing and managing large datasets is preferred
