Job Title: Data Architect
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Salary: £70 - £80k

A leading UK-based healthcare organisation are undergoing an exciting period of digital transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Data Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping the enterprise data strategy and transforming the data landscape of a large, fast-paced organisation dedicated to providing high-quality services.

The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain a robust data architecture framework, ensuring data quality, governance, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation. This is a permanent, primarily remote role with occasional travel across the UK.

Duties:

• Develop and execute a strategic data architecture blueprint.
• Establish comprehensive data architecture standards and principles.
• Lead the Data Architecture strategy, focusing on data sourcing and mastering approaches.
• Manage the organisation's data catalogue, ensuring consistent and high-quality metadata.
• Act as a strategic advisor within the organisation's data programme.
• Align data, technical, and business architecture across the organisation.
• Promote best practices and improve organisational data maturity.

Experience:

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Architecture.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide data solutions.
• Expert knowledge of data architecture principles and methodologies.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Flexibility for occasional UK-wide travel.
• Willingness to work extended hours when required.
