Atrium UK is looking for an accomplished Data Architect to support a Dublin based client developing a new cutting-edge data analytics platform, which will support data pipelines that will enable new commercial products. You will research cutting edge big data tools, and design innovative solutions to solve business problems that only a Data Architect can. You will be responsible for the design and architecture of our new federated data model that will leverage a mix of different cloud technologies (ie Kubernetes, Databricks, Snowflake). The Data Architect will be needed onsite 2-3 days a week and this must be in country. (PAYE, umbrella or Irish limited company)

Essential:

* Strong proficiency in data architecture design solutions, data modelling and database design, with a deep understanding of relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
* Proven track record working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), big data technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, PySpark, etc.)
* Expertise in data integration techniques, including ETL processes, data pipelines, and data synchronization.
* Extensive knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and data privacy regulations.
* Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
* Systematic understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools (Github, Jenkins, etc)
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of leading and mentoring teams.
* Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Snowflake
* Experience with Apache Spark and related Big Data stack and technologies, PySpark Scala
* Experience working in projects with agile/scrum methodologies
* Familiarity with production quality ML and/or AI model development and deployment.
* Experience with exposure to EDI, HIPAA, HL7 and FHIR integration standards
