Job Description

Required for a five-month onsite contract in Stockholm, a data governance specialist with experience in implementing governance practices in data and analytics functions.

Role:

You will join a team of specialists working within data governance and data management. Your role will focus on establishing data governance capabilities, guardrails, and guidelines for the analytics data platform on Google (GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert for data governance topics in data and analytics.
  • Work together with the Data Governance team to roll out governance capabilities for company's most critical data assets.
  • Define principles, guardrails and guidelines together with the product teams to secure that solutions are aligned with the architectural principles of Data Mesh.
  • Serve as a link between business and tech to ensure that the management of data is in line with current and future business requirements of the company.
  • Implement data governance roles and responsibilities to ensure clear accountability for the most critical data assets.

Qualifications

  • Experience in driving data governance topics in data and analytics.
  • Experience from working in data mesh architecture.
  • Experience from writing guidelines and guardrails.
  • Experience from large and global organizations.
  • Used to working with both technical and business questions.
  • Excellent verbal communication and documentation capacity in English.
  • It is beneficial if you have previous experience from project management and agile way of working.
