Data Analyst

On behalf of EANI, we are looking for a Data Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 12 month contract based Hybrid based in Belfast.

EA was established on 1 April 2015 under the Education Act (Northern Ireland) 2014. EA is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department of Education (DE) and the Department for the Economy (DfE), responsible for ensuring that efficient and effective primary and secondary education and educational services are available to meet the needs of children and young people, and for ensuring the provision of efficient and effective youth services.

As a Data Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:

Essential:
* Evaluate EA's data acquisition and exchange processes internal and external within project scope and identify areas for improvement, developing and creating solutions plans.
* Develop or improve database user interactions to ensure efficient information use, data quality and appropriate security for EA.
* Use data analysis tools to identify trends, processing bottlenecks and define improved presentation in a way to support schools and EA in the better decision making process.
* Make recommendations in technical developments that will step-change business efficiency.
* To lead ongoing reviews of EA Data business processes and developing optimization strategies, ensuring processes are productive, efficient and provide value for money.

Desirable:
* Previous PowerBI, SQL or python experience.
* Strong stakeholder engagement experience.
* Data analysis experience.
