On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Cyber Security Support Engineer (Delinea) for a 6 month contract based in Edinburgh/Alderley Park (Manchester) on a hybrid basis (2/3 times per week in the office).

Purpose of the Role:

As Cyber Security Support Engineer (Delinea) you are going to join the Royal London security and resilience team within the CISO office. You will enhance Royal London capabilities in combating the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape, playing a crucial part in maintaining the security infrastructure.

Responsibilities of the role:

As Cyber Security Support Engineer (Delinea), you will be responsible for:

• Provide 2nd line support for cyber technologies, ensuring robust technical controls to protect the organisation from threats.
• Resolve incidents and requests related to cyber technologies within agreed SLAs.
• Maintain system uptime and availability, ensuring no unplanned outages due to cyber technologies.
• Support junior team members and Cyber Engineers in identifying opportunities to enhance controls.
• Maintain disaster recovery procedures and provide technical support for disaster recovery tests.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation related to security technologies.
• Work as technical resource on initiatives to implement new cybersecurity controls.

What we require from the candidate:

• Hands-on experience with cyber security platforms from industry leaders, including EDR, SIEM, IPS, WAF, DLP, Identity & Data Management, and Network Security technologies.
• Experience using Delinea (formerly Thycotic Secret Server).
• Hands on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Experience working within a regulated environment in the financial services industry.
• Hands on experience in Scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.

Our Alderley Park office is situated in 400 acres of natural parkland, based 2.2 miles south of Alderley Edge and 6.5 miles from Macclesfield in our newly refurbished site. We offer a free shuttle service to and from the office from Wilmslow train station and offer free on-site parking with free electric car charging points.
