Cutover Manager

GEP is seeking a highly skilled Cutover Manager to oversee the smooth transition and implementation of new systems within a global manufacturing environment. This role will involve crafting and managing detailed cutover plans, ensuring seamless coordination among diverse teams, and driving the overall strategy for a successful system rollout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and refine the cutover strategy, aligning it with the goals and expectations of IT and business stakeholders.
• Plan Development: Create comprehensive cutover plans, integrating inputs from data migration and business ramp-up/down schedules.
• Execution Oversight: Lead the implementation of the cutover plan, maintaining clear communication and managing any arising issues promptly.
• Daily Coordination: Conduct daily check-ins to monitor progress, address delays, and ensure alignment with the cutover timeline.
• Communication Management: Establish a robust communication strategy to keep all stakeholders informed of progress, supported by relevant metrics and dashboards.
• Downtime Minimization: Formulate and implement strategies to minimize downtime during the cutover process.

Candidate Profile:

• Extensive Experience: Over 6 years in project delivery, with at least 3 years in modern ERP environments.
• Manufacturing Expertise: Proven background in the manufacturing industry.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of ERP and/or MES systems, with experience in complex, multinational projects.
• Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong presentation capabilities.
• Project Management: Familiar with methodologies like PMI, Prince 2, Agile/Scrum.
• Leadership Skills: Strong team player with the ability to manage people and solutions effectively.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel within Europe

Offer Details:

• Contract Duration: 12-month contract with a competitive rate.
• Start Date: Expected to commence towards the end of the year.
