Rather exciting opportunity to join a fabulous, fun and successful creative experiential design and events agency - working across varied events and activations for leading and exciting brands in the lifestyle, beauty and fashion sector.

This lovely agency are well established and known for their excellent creative approach and faultlessly executed production - and as being genuinely lovely people to work with. Their work is varied across experiential and design activities - from press and influencer events, photoshoots, pop ups, mailers, festival activations, packing toolkits and everything in between. They have an excellent and enviable client list within the sector, and are on a continued growth trajectory due to the fact they do it all really well!

There are currently c. 20 full time people in the business, but continued expansion through the year and beyond in line with their increasing success with both new and repeat clients - work is incoming! The Role:
As one of 2 Creative Production Directors - and reporting directly into the MD/Founder - you'll lead your own team of (currently) c. 4-5 - a mix of Producers and a Production Assistant. You'll run it like your own mini business, inspiring and supporting your team across all aspects of client projects and relationships, with responsibility from creative responses, client management, project planning, production and delivery, ensuring projects are brilliantly hitting the client brief in terms of both creativity, production and profit! You'll allocate work across the team, and be fab on managing budgets, and all the reporting nuts of bolts of running a successful and happy standalone team of Producers.

You:
You'll have a strong proven background agency-side in creative production within the experiential events sector - with experience across the full range of deliverables, from Press and Influencer trips, launches, pop ups, mailers, festival activations, design took kits etc. Specifically we are looking for really good all rounders who can bring:

Significant (min 10 years) creative production experience within experiential events and activations across varied formats with strong brand understanding within the sector Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills - ability to inspire team to give their best Strong written and verbal communications skill - presentation skills to make outstanding pitches Plenty of creative ideas and an understanding of client vision - ideally within a lifestyle/beauty/fashion sector Well rounded strengths and abilities alongside excellent production knowledge and skills - to include great client/account management skills and strong numeracy/budget, p&l etc - and fantastic project management Skilled in managing people, projects and resources Awareness of current trends in advertising and design Experience of working across varied formats within the creative experiential sector - including from Press and Influencer trips, launches, pop ups, mailers, festival activations, design took kits. More about the detail of the role:
You'll be work alongside their inhouse creative design team, and reporting directly into the Founder/MD and her immediate Exec team. Your responsibilities will be across the full range of agency activities and include:

  • Project Management

Leading and producing large scale productions and activations - including full development of creative projects from initial idea to reality
Lead and inspire the team to ensure their projects are delivered successfully on time and on budget from pitch to wrap stage
Signing off project timelines, proposals and budgets for your direct team - includes scoping out the commercial viability of live jobs once signed off
Managing client facing budgets and quotes, P&L updates etc
Contract negotiation with varied 3 rd parties/suppliers - including management of SOW
On-site event delivery - UK and Overseas

  • Client Management

Lead client contact on day-to-day level particularly with senior clients
Oversee client communications to ensure right level and quality throughout
Pro-actively pitch new event ideas to clients

  • Team Management

Managing team's workload - allocating projects
Supervising relevant project workflow management
Line management of a project team - goal setting, appraisals, training and development

  • Supplier Management
  • Involvement in marketing, lead generation and input of passion and innovation into development of company culture, business and continued success
