Condition Surveyor - Social Housing

Condition Surveyor job, based in North East, Permanent, Up to £35,000 per annum

Your new companyA very successful housing association, with housing stock across the North East. Their aim is to provide the best possible homes for their tenants.
This role has arisen due to an internal promotion.

Your new role
Based within the Assets & Property team, your role will be to carry out routine and cyclical property surveys, providing technical advice and solutions to any issues that are found.
You will contribute to the longer term sustainability of the housing stock, of over 12,000 properties, whilst aiming to maximise the financial return on the assets.You will monitor asset/stock data to ensure it is updated and maintained within the association.
You will help the team prepare annual, five and 30 year forecasts and budgets to achieve key strategic objectives.

What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 2 years' experience carrying out building surveys within a social housing / local authority setting
Knowledge of Decent Homes Standard/HHSRS
To be able to use relevant asset/property database systems
The ability to analyse complex asset/property data
A full UK driving licence
