A prominent force in Defence, Nuclear, Marine industries is looking for a Concrete Specialist. With a Legacy of expertise and a forward-thinking approach, this distinguished company continues setting new standards for success and sustainability as a leader in diverse industries.

As a Concrete Specialist, you'll advise the Project team and the Structures Technical Authority, providing specialist input to concrete engineering. You will be maintaining control over the Quality Control Grade concrete engineering works completed within the site boundary of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Concrete Engineering Advisor is accountable to the Design Manager for the technical management (quality) of assigned tasks.
• Review the existing Technical Specification for the works and provide any feedback.
• Review, comment and accept the Contractors Proposal/Concrete Validity study on the target concrete mix design.

Skills Required:

• A degree in an appropriate engineering discipline eg, Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years working in heavy concrete structures preferably with experience working in the specialist field of concrete materials (mix development, defect remediation, site construction etc.) and specification writing.
