Community Psychiatric Nurse - Drug and Alcohol Services - Band 6 - CNTW Trust

Do you have a passion for supporting people with substance misuse issues? Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a supportive and dynamic team?

CNTW Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse to join our Drug and Alcohol Services team. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to individuals within our community who are experiencing substance misuse.

What you'll do:

  • Provide holistic assessment, treatment, and support to individuals with complex needs related to drug and alcohol misuse.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of innovative and evidence-based interventions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of best practice within the service.
  • Advocate for service users and promote their rights and well-being.


What you'll need:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
  • Significant experience working within drug and alcohol services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to providing high-quality care
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines
