Full-time, Permanent position as Community Manager for Market Workspace in our lively mixed-use building in the heart of Peckham.

Located in Cornerhouse, directly opposite Peckham Rye Station, we're more than just a workspace - our mission is to foster a unique environment where our members can thrive both professionally and personally.

We're looking for a Community Manager to be the heartbeat of our workspace, ensuring our members have an outstanding experience every day. If you're warm, professional, proactive, and thrive on delivering top-notch customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As Community Manager, you'll be the go-to person for our members, from welcoming new starters to keeping the space running smoothly. This is a hands-on, dynamic role where you'll take pride in every aspect of member experience, ensuring Market Workspace continues to be a place where people love to work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the face of Market: First point of contact for members and visitors, ensuring a warm, friendly welcome.
  • Maintain excellence: Ensure the space looks impeccable and operates seamlessly each day.
  • Support our members: Handle day-to-day requests so they can focus on their businesses.
  • Lead sales efforts: Keep sales platforms updated, manage leads via our CRM, and give tours to prospective members.
  • Member onboarding: Induct new members and ensure they feel at home from day one.
  • Events management: Plan, promote, and host regular workspace community events (some evening work required).
  • Foster connections: Create networking opportunities and facilitate introductions among members.
  • Manage payments: Own the debt management process with diligence and professionalism.
  • Collaborate: Work with management and external partners (e.g., Google Ads managers) to enhance member satisfaction and grow the business.
