As a Communications and Marketing Officer for Clumber Park, you'll be responsible for letting people know about the place, and how they can visit.

What it's like to work here:

Working alongside and reporting to the Senior Marketing & Communications Officer, you'll be based in the Park Office at Clumber Park. The primary focus will be on Clumber Park, one of the National Trust's most visited places with 650,000+ visitors a year. There will also be the opportunity to get involved with other Nottinghamshire portfolio properties, Mr Straw's House in Worksop, and The Workhouse in Southwell. You'll have full access to the National Trust's Communications and Marketing Academy where you'll find training, guidance, and best practice to support and fulfil your communications and marketing responsibilities. Originally home to the Dukes of Newcastle, Clumber Park is steeped in history, with clues to its grand past dotted throughout the park. It is home to a splendid 83-acre serpentine lake, a 4-acre walled kitchen garden and a magnificent gothic Chapel. Providing the perfect backdrop for exploring, relaxing and spending time together, there's something for every member of the family to enjoy.

What you'll be doing:

We have an annual plan covering communications and marketing, and your role from will be to achieve what's on that plan. We have some ambitious targets that you'll be aiming at, including reaching new and diverse audiences, so there's room for creativity and fresh ideas.

Your day-to-day work will cover things like creating new content on our web pages, and making sure that existing information remains relevant and accurate, running social media accounts, creating promotional materials and writing and distributing press releases.

You'll be working closely with your colleagues on site and the Trusts regional advisers, known as consultants. You'll be part of a team making sure that we're sharing the best stories we can, with a focus on spreading the word about places to visit and letting people know about the Trust's conservation work.
